1. Refund Policy

We strive to be a good steward of online resources and services for our customers. While www.ecomputingx.com is a partially free website, users pay membership fees to get full access to the website and to use many powerful on-line software toolboxes. To ensure customer satisfaction, we have the following seven-day no-questions-asked refund policy:

Within seven days of registration or membership renewal, a user may ask for a full refund of the membership payment and no questions will be asked for the refund.

2. Changes of Membership Fees

Due to the expansion and promotion of our on-line services, toolboxes and other products, from time to time, the membership fees for the eComputingX services and products, in any membership application process including initial subscription, renewal and addition of licenses in a multi-user account, may change without notice. As such, we charge membership fees applicable on the date of membership application or renewal, either automatically set or manually initiated. However, during the time period of a membership plan already purchased, no additional cost shall be imposed and no refund shall be issued, regardless of the changes of membership fees.

The master user of a multi-user account can increase the number of licenses at any time during the effective time period of the account. However, the expiration date of the account remains the same, with or without addition of extra licenses. The payment for added licenses is calculated based on a prorated group discount rate, which is explained in the following example.

Example. On 2015/02/16, John registered a multi-user account with 7 licenses (for one year). The membership fees on that date were

$100/user/year for 2-9 users

$90/user/year for 10-19 users

$80/user/year for 20-29 users

So, on that date, John paid $700 membership fees and the expiration date of his account was set to 2016/02/16. On 2015/03/22, which was 34 days after, John wanted to add 5 licenses to his account. The membership fees were still the same. The 5 added licenses would be charged on the discount annual rate for 10-19 users, namely $90/user/year. Because the expiration date of the account was not going to change, the 5 added licenses would be effective only for 331 days (365 – 34 = 331). As such, a prorated payment for the 5 additional licenses is calculated as follows:

$90 x 5 x 331/365 = $408.08

After the addition of 5 more licenses, John’s account now has 12 licenses with the expiration date of 2016/02/16. And for the two transactions in the initial registration and addition of licenses, John totally paid $1,108.08.

The master user can add more licenses multiple times during the effective time period of the multi-user account. However, the expiration date of the account remains the same as was first set up. No reduction of licenses will be allowed though.
